The facility will be approximately 23,600 square feet and built to a Gold LEED standard. The main structure will be an American Buildings pre-manufactured building with 6 inch insulated metal panels on both the roof and walls. The center will function as a collection site and processing plant for recyclable items. The recycling facility is also being built with the following systems in planning, Solar Aquatic Sewage System, Wood Fire Boiler, Wind Turbines, and Solar (Panels, Thermal)

176th Wing Training Fire Facilty

Scope: Work includes new construction of an approximately 5,700 square foot 176th Wing Training fire station. This new facility consists of a one story side with three apparatus bays and a two story side of support/office spaces. The facility will house 176th Wing CES/CEF personnel engaged in fire training activities. The required functional areas include administrative offices; three apparatus/vehicle bays (approximately 2,100 Square Feet); and miscellaneous spaces/shops. The drive through apparatus vehicle bays consists of overhead doors, compressed air drops, and water connections. The building is a pre-engineered American Building with pre-finished metal roofing panels.
